Joseph Crisalli is an author, illustrator, designer and dealer of fine antiques. Best known for his popular fiction series for young people, The River Road Adventures, Vista Falls Junior High and Story Time, Joseph also co-wrote and illustrated The Emeritus Peabody Mysteries and has completed two works of literary fiction—The Garnet Red and The Cages of Marionneaux.  An erstwhile actor and set designer, Joseph lives in the Historic District of McKinney, Texas with his West Highland White Terrier, Bertie.

-Joseph is very fortunate to share his home with Bertram Wilberforce Wooster, also known as Bertie. Bertie is a four year old West Highland White Terrier who was rescued from Stillwater Oklahoma. Find out more about Bertie and how he made the move from Oklahoma to McKinney, Texas.

-Joseph's home, "The John W. Thomas House" was selected by producers at Home and Garden Television (HGTV) to appear on the network's popular program, Restore America in Episode 713.
