It's another new year of The River Road Adventures, Vista Falls Junior High, Plays and Skits and Story Time

Story Time (formerly The Reading Nook) is designed for children in grades 1-3 and is the original "Vista Falls" story. Now in its ninth season, the series follows the daily lives of elementary school students in the fictional town of Vista Falls as they discover new things and new ways to be good people. "Story Time" challenges young students to address adult topics such as divorce, illness, different religious beliefs, self image and peer pressure in a gentle way--making sure to show that each situation has a bright side. This year we'll be feauturing the best of "Story Time" I've pulled some of my favorite stories from the first three years. These, as always, will star Tamara, Iggy, Mario, Andrea, Nesta and their old pal, Kitty Conn.

Can you belive this is the seventh season of The River Road Adventures? This year's adventure begins when Violet Trotter discovers that someone has stolen all of the shoes from the closets in her mansion. Who could do such a thing? If anyone can solve this mystery it's Kitty Conn and her friends! A special visit from the Mr. and Mrs. DeLorca and Mr. DeLorca's pet pelican, Shakuntala, will certainly help. As always, this year's new chapters are available exclusively at the NEW FaithFirst.com.

The seventh season of Vista Falls Junior High continues to center around the classic struggle between good and evil and touches on the issues that Junior High students face on a daily basis...with a touch of melodrama and humor thrown in for good measure. The 2006-2007 season of VFJH will focus on a break-in at the Junior High's Library. Will Officer Colbert, Mr. Dinello and the teens figure out who did it? Was it newcomer Dill Preston or perhaps the creepy librarian, Miss Marsden. Come back each week to find out more.

As with RRA, Vista Falls Junior High will continue in the voting format which has made this FaithFirst.com exclusive so popular.

Plays and skits continues for a third year. These clever dramas are for use in the parish or classroom. Based on your favorite characters from all of the "Vista Falls" series, these plays will be useful for all age groups. Each month, look for a different play with topics ranging from "Making New Friends" to "Waiting for Jesus." Your productions can be as elaborate or as simple as you like as long as you have fun and learn a little along the way.
